The book I read was 13 REASONS WHY by JAY ASHER and the genre of this book is mystery, teen drama and of course fiction. This book is about a boy name Clay Jensen who comes home from school one day to find a box at his front door filled with cassette tapes. He soon finds out that they are from Hannah Baker, her suicide tapes. Clay had a crush on Hannah but until she committed suicide two weeks earlier but had someone send her suicide tapes to certain people.  But wait there is a catch if anybody fails to pass the tapes,there's another copy of the recordings that will go public. There are 7 tapes but in total there are 13 stories with a map. Hannah explains 13 reasons why she decided to end her life. Hannah tells many different stories of her life that are good and bad and tells them to the listeners. The main characters are Hannah Baker and Clay Jensen plus other people on the tapes. The setting takes place at different locations in Hannah's map and also at  Clay'

 The book I read was Wonder by R.J. Palacio and the genre of  this book is fiction.This book is about a 10 year old kid name August Pullman who was born with a craniofacial abnormality, a medical condition that caused his face to be severely deformed.August’s parents decided to transfer Auggie from homeschool to a private school for 5th grade. August meets Julian, Jack Will and Charlotte when they showed Auggie around the school. Via was always protecting her brother Auggie when people were looking or talking about him. Auggie doesn’t want to go to school because he was afraid of how people might react to seeing him. My favorite part about this book is that August doesn’t care about of what people think of him. A insterting part is when Julian and Jack will get in to a fight because Jualian said something mean about Auggie, but also Jack didn’t want to tell Mr.Tushman the reason he got to a fight with Jualian. I chose this word because a lot of things happened in my life that I regret and wish It never happened  with my family and myself but it always has a reason. My word means that in my life everything I do always have a purpose but I will do it with determination. Living my word in 2018 will change my life by having more passion and purpose.The specific steps I will take to live my word is forget about my past and moving on but also forgiving myself because the past is the past and I can’t go back and change it. What I can do is to move on with my life and forgive myself because I did my best what I could have done during those horrible times. I would hold myself accountable with my word by being strong and being happy so good things can happen to my family and myself.

The title of the book is called “Famous Last Words” By: Katie Alender and the genre of this book is mystery/paranormal fiction. This book is about a girl name Willa who moves to Hollywood  and she starts seeing things like dead bodies and flashbacks about famous people who got murder by a Hollywood killer. The message of this story is never trust a person whick. My favorite part of the story is when she falls in love with boy that is obsessed with the Hollywood killer.

The title of this book is “ Looking For Alaska by John Green” and the genre of the book is young adult fiction book. This book is about a boy name Miles but his nickname is Pudge who goes to a boarding school in Alabama and he is obsessed with famous last words. Miles meats a girl and two boys who’s name is Alaska Young, Colonel and Takumi who goes to the boarding school. Also pudge falls in love with Alaska young but she brings him to a not safe world. Alaska Young and pudge fall in love with each but then things start happen between them but then a tragic thing happened and impacted all of the group.

    The Outsiders movie wasn’t like the book because the movie added more details that weren’t from the book like Johnny wrote a letter to ponyboy before he died and it wasn’t in the book but also the movie left details that were from the book to because in the book bob Sheldon's friend visit ponyboy and talked to him but in the movie they didn’t have that at all so there were some parts that were missing. I think director and the actors did a great job in the movie because they showed a lot of emotions and there was lot action but I think they showed the book message about The Outsider..
